What is AICP™?
AICP™ is a 60-hour programme delivered over 30 weeks to ensure depth and rigour. From the early weeks, participants begin coaching within their organisation, supported by supervision and structured feedback. Learning is designed in manageable chunks — including short live lunchtime sessions and self-paced online modules — making it practical and achievable alongside busy professional roles.
Participants will learn how to:
- Coach confidently: Engage colleagues, peers, and senior leaders with credibility and empathy
- Navigate dual roles: Handle boundaries and power dynamics with clarity
- Deepen emotional intelligence: Enhance self-awareness and reflective practice
- Model professional standards: Embed coaching habits that last
We offer our Accredited Internal Coach Practitioner programme in 2 routes, depending on your requirements and delegate numbers:
- Open Cohorts: Small, application-based groups
- In-House Cohorts: Tailored 6–12 participant programmes
Why internal coaching matters?
Organisations need coaching that works from within. AICP™ delivers:
- Internal coaching capability: Equip colleagues to coach alongside their day jobs
- Emotional intelligence first: Emotional Intelligence is the foundation, not an add-on
- Practical, ethical coaching: Skills that are embedded in culture, not theory
- Ongoing support: ThinkSpace community to sustain growth
- Bespoke organisational reporting: Track impact and embed learning across teams
AICP™ is designed to build confident internal coaching capability and sustainable coaching cultures.
The structured framework and accreditation pathway equip participants to coach effectively in both internal and external environments, although the programme itself focuses on coaching within organisations.

FAQ's
Who is AICP™ designed for?
AICP™ is designed for professionals who coach alongside their existing role — typically managers, team leaders, HR and OD specialists building internal coaching capability within their organisation.
Can I use this programme to coach externally in the future?
While AICP™ is focused on internal coaching, the structured framework, supervised practice, and accreditation pathway equip participants to coach effectively in any environment.
How long is the programme and what does it include?
AICP™ is a blended journey, including live workshops, structured internal coachee practice, reflective exercises, group supervision, and access to the ThinkSpace community. In-house cohorts also receive a bespoke organisational impact report.
What is an “Open Cohort” and how do I apply?
Open Cohorts are small, curated groups with professionals from different organisations. This creates a psychologically safe space and maximises learning. There’s a short application conversation to ensure the programme is the right fit for both the individual and the cohort.
What are the in-house cohort options?
For organisations with 4 or more delegates, we can run a dedicated cohort tailored to your context. This supports internal coaching capability at scale and includes organisational reporting to track engagement and impact.
How is AICP™ different from other coaching programmes?
AICP™ is built around emotional intelligence as the foundation, dual-role coaching realities, practical frameworks, and ongoing supervision support. Unlike “train-and-leave” programmes, it embeds capability sustainably into your organisation.
Will participants receive a formal accreditation?
Yes. Participants who complete AICP™ are eligible for Accreditation with the Association for Coaching, alongside the practical skills, supervision habits, and reflective practice to apply coaching effectively in their roles.
What support is available during and after the programme?
Participants benefit from:
- ThinkSpace community for peer reflection and support
- Ongoing access to guidance for internal coaching practice
- A bespoke organisational impact report to support you as you bring coaching back into your organisation.
I’ve loved the whole experience. Kirsty has been fantastic, both in her knowledge and but also creating a great learning environment where we can flourish
I enjoyed the balance between theory, space, time and dedication for reflection and learning and the cohort approach to coaching.
I thought that the way the course was organised helped to create such a lovely sense of community among our cohort and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to build a strong rapport with my coaching triad
Coaching is the 2nd fastest growing industry in the world.
